Asian Cancer Foundation (ACF) continues to advance its mission of extending a helping hand to cancer afflicted adult and children. ACF will be participating in the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2016. We therefore, make a humble appeal to you all, to kindly join us in creating awareness & prevention of cancer by participating in the Mumbai Marathon 2016. We want your support for the noble cause. All proceeds will go towards the funding & services for cancer treatment of poor & needy cancer patients:
- Supporting diagnosis and treatment costs for the needy patients.
- Conducting awareness and educational programs.
- Setting up of support groups and clubs (stoma, tobacco de-addiction etc.)
- Rehabilitation of cancer survivors with prosthesis etc.
- Assist out-station patients in transport and lodging during their treatment and follow up.
- Promote cancer research.
